Graeme Maxton is an economist, author and Member of the Club of Rome. His most recent book, The End of Progress – How modern economics has failed us, was nominated for the Financial Times Best Book About Business Award, has been translated into several languages and became a top-20 international best-seller. Previously a contributor to The Economist, he now writes for a range of international newspapers and magazines and is a regular host of CNBC’s Squawk Box.
